Exploring Asiatique Thailand!

Updated: May 8, 2020

Thailand has a lot of cool places to offer to the tourists.

One of it is the wonderful Asiatique: The Riverfront. It is a large open air mall in Bangkok, Thailand. This amazing spot is along the Chao Phraya River. The city's night view is very relaxing and exciting.

How to get there? There are two ways. You can take a taxi or if you want to avoid traffic jam you can take BTS instead. From Mochit station, you can take BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin BTS station. Make sure that you change the line once you arrive at Siam Station (this could be a little tricky for the first-timer, like me, but once you understand the two station lines then it will be easy). Then, you need to go down to the Sathorn Pier and take Asiatique’s service boat there. I really recommend this route because this service is free for everyone and furthermore you can experience and see the beautiful view of the city and the amazing front view of Asiatique: The Riverfront.

Once I arrived there, I was in awe of the beautiful landscape. The location is perfect! The river, the skyscrapers and the vibe added up my excitement. Every now and then tourists arrive in the wharf by boat. There are different restaurants to choose; Chinese, American,Japanese restaurants, name it, they have it. If Philippines has lechon baboy or grilled pig, they also have grilled buwaya or roasted crocodile. Like WHAT?

Very exotic food! Crocodile bbq at its finest. Enjoy!

I have already heard about eating crocodile meat somewhere in Mindanao province in the Philippines, but seeing it in person brought me an unusual feeling. They said it tastes like chicken, but still I can't dare eating it.

This food stall will definitely catch your attention!

When you go inside, you will feel you enter a fantasy world, many singing shows, hand-crafted Thai products and many more restaurants.

This gigantic Ferris wheel is a must-see. If I visit again, I will surely try riding this.

I don't know how to call this instrument, but I enjoyed this boy's performance.

This place is like a real-life wonderland for me. Surely, you will forget the hassle world outside, and a few bucks in your pocket doesn't hurt. Enjoy amazing Thailand!
