Our adventure began in the beautiful town of Hoi An, known for its ancient buildings and lively culture. Just a short drive from Danang, Hoi An was the perfect starting point for our exciting day trip to Sun World Ba Na Hills, a mountain resort with amazing views and fun attractions.
We left our hotel at 6 am, thanks to the helpful staff who booked our tickets and taxi. We were excited as we set off for Ba Na Hills, ready for a day filled with fun and beautiful scenery.
When we arrived at the base of the mountain, I was both excited and a little scared to take the cable car. It was my first time, and the idea of hanging high above the forest was a bit scary. The cable car ride at Ba Na Hills is famous for being the "longest non-stop single track cable car," stretching 5,801 meters (19,032 feet) and taking about 20 minutes.
Despite my fear, the ride was incredible. The views were stunning, with the lush forest below and the mountain peaks around us. It felt like we were floating above the clouds.
When we finally reached Ba Na Hills, we were surprised by how cold it was. The chilly weather and thick fog were very different from the warm weather we left in Hoi An. Unfortunately, we weren't dressed for the cold, so we felt quite cold.
Even though it was freezing, we wanted to enjoy our visit. We started by taking some photos of the foggy hills, which looked like a scene from a fairy tale.
Next, we tried some of the fun rides Ba Na Hills is known for. The cold air and exciting rides made for a thrilling experience. Each ride offered something different, from fast drops to amazing views.
By lunchtime, we were ready to warm up and eat. We found a cozy restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. The hot food warmed us up and gave us energy to keep exploring.
One of the highlights of Ba Na Hills is the famous Golden Bridge. This amazing bridge is held up by two giant stone hands and offers spectacular views. It was crowded with tourists, but we still managed to take some great photos. Walking on the Golden Bridge felt like being in a dream.
If you're planning a trip to Ba Na Hills, especially during the Tet holiday, make sure to dress warmly. The mountain can be much colder than the city, especially in the morning and afternoon.
Our day at Sun World Ba Na Hills was full of fun and beautiful sights. From the thrilling cable car ride to the magical Golden Bridge, every moment was special. Despite the cold and fog, it was an unforgettable experience.
We returned to Hoi An that evening, tired but happy, with lots of photos and great memories. If you're visiting the Danang area, be sure to visit Ba Na Hills. Just remember to check the weather and dress warmly, especially during the Tet holiday!
