Thailand's "Grand Canyon" in Ubon Ratchathani

Who would have thought that this magnificent rock formation is in Thailand?
Yes, you read it right. These gigantic rock forms are located in the Mekong river. If you happen to come across the Thai song MV entitled, IOU of Trinity T-POP group, you can see that they featured this tourist spot. I think they captured the best spots in their video. Oh, I wish I can take pictures beautifully, but I am still struggling with this.
It is located in Sam Phan Bok district of Ubon Ratchathani, around 2 hours away from the main city.

Fun fact: Sam Phan Bok is derived from Thai/Esan Language which means 3,000 holes. People are amazed of those quirky and unusual formations of the house. My favorites are the Olaf from frozen (shown above) and the Mickey Mouse (shown below).

Unfortunately, we went there after the country's lockdown so the city is not that lively. We were the first tourists who arrived and we can see how slow tourism was.
